Diamond Island Resort, Restaurant & Bar And Penguin Show is located on Tasmania's East Coast, 200 km from Launceston. This eco-style, oceanside resort features a restaurant and bar in a homestead built in 1856. Private beach access allows exploration of Diamond Island at low tide. The resort has conference facilities, gardens and large decks. The on-site restaurant is open seasonally and to outside guests nightly. The resort offers private Penguin tours, as well as private access to the beach and a free private penguin show. Bicheno's Glass Bottom Boat is approximately 2.5 km from the resort, allowing views of sea creatures off the coast. The location provides access to Wineglass Bay, Bay of Firesand, and the Freycinet and Douglas Apsley National Parks.

Beach View Studios offer views of the ocean and penguins. Each apartment features ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, terrace, dining table, patio, soundproofed rooms, and garden furniture. All rooms have private access to the beach and a free private penguin show.
